The Kinduct Human Performance App is now available for download.

Its intentions? To help athletes stay healthy, perform better, and accomplish their goals.

And to check those boxes, we’ve created an app with three key components: in-app forms, metrics, and training/rehab programs — a first in the industry.

HOW IT WORKS

Centralized in one app, athletes will find assigned forms, in-app metrics and reports, and scheduled programming that has been created and tailored by a coach or trainer. These three main features can be broken down as follows:

FORMS: The ability to assign the forms you build in your Kinduct platform to the Kinduct mobile app will make it easy for busy athletes to complete surveys, questionnaires, and assessments on the go. Athletes will be notified when forms are sent and scheduled and their answers will automatically populate reports in your Kinduct platform.

We have also released Forms+, our Form Builder tool reimagined. Through what’s called conditional logic, assessments or questionnaires now adapt to an athlete’s answers as they navigate the form; in other words, an athlete’s answer dictates which question they will be prompted with next.

For example, the question “Did you train today?” If answered yes, a follow up question may be “What type of training did you do?” If the athlete didn’t train, then they can be asked a different question such as “Why didn’t you train today?”

METRICS: When it comes to in-app metrics, our vision was to not only enhance the communication channel between coaches and athletes, but also empower athletes by providing them with more access to their data. The in-app access to health and performance trends enable athletes review, analyze, ask questions — and do so from anywhere and any time.

Athletes can select metrics that matter to them from a list provided by their coaches (included Apple Health data). The metrics are then tracked and visualized in easy-to-view reports and come complete with colourized trends and thresholds over daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes to add context to an athlete’s health and performance. Additionally, athletes can access a Kinduct webpage and review more detailed individual reports that have been created by their coaches.

What’s new about Metrics: Additionally, athletes can access a Kinduct webpage and review more detailed individual reports that have been created by their coaches.

At the conclusion of a form — such as a post-game performance survey or wellness questionnaire — users of the app can visit a dynamic dashboard that includes the data they’ve just submitted alongside further context around their overall health and performance.

These reports can be customized to include box-score statistics, travel schedule, sleep quality, and other metrics like top speed and total distance.

PROGRAMMING: Through the Kinduct Human Performance App, coaches and trainers can send their athletes strength and rehab programming directly to their mobile devices. From there, athletes submit sets, reps, and other aspects of their workout such as RPE. Programming can include video/photo content to help inform the program, which can come in especially handy for remote monitoring. The athletes also have access to historical data from previous workouts to help track their progress over time.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW

From a coaching/user standpoint, the app is fully connected to our Human Performance Platform. This means that through our roles and permissions configurations you control what forms and programs are assigned to the athlete, as well as what data the athlete can see within the app.

We’re also proud to say that the app has followed the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT™) to make it as accessible as possible and available for both iOS and Android devices.
