Xsens has released a new Firmware and MT Software Suite version: 2025.2.0 for Xsens MTi/Sirius/Avior product portfolio.
The main new features introduced with this release are:
Software
- Support for new product series (Xsens Avior).
- Xsens Device API and MT SDK now support Python 3.11. Support for Python 3.7 has been removed.
Also note that 2025.2 will be the last version with official support for the MTi 100-series. It will also be the last version to contain a ROS1 driver. Future releases will refer to the new and improved ROS1/2 driver, available on Github.

New Firmware 1.2.1
- First release for Xsens Avior Series
- Added support for NMEA/String output mode
- An internal 120 Ω CAN termination resistor can now be enabled using the SetCanConfig Xbus message
