Xsens welcomes The institute of Physical Education, Sport and Health of Northern Arctic Federal University as a new Xsens customer. The institute considers the MVN Analyze movement analysis system as an up-to-date and comprehensive system for measuring kinematic parameters in different kinds of sport. The implementation has research and educational purposes, as well as improving training process. The laboratories have equipment for examination of energetic and kinetics of movements. Thereby it will be rewarding to add the kinematic data provided by MVN Analyze system to the analysis dataset.

The institute of Physical Education, Sport and Health of Northern Arctic Federal University was established in 2011 as a successor of the Faculty of Physical Education of former Pomor State University. Our institute is unique. Theoretical studies alternate with sports classes. The students specialize in 9 core sports that are most important in the region – swimming, athletics, skiing, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, floorball, hockey, polyathlon.

The institute has trained more than 3000 specialists in physical education and sport, more than 100 Masters of Sports of the USSR and Russia, hundreds of sportsmen with official rating that have made significant progress in work and sport. Among the graduates of the institute there are several honored coaches of Russia, honored workers of physical education, a honored coach of the USSR and other distinguished people.
